T2015-Alaskan6
$65.00
We acquired about a dozen of these beautiful Native Alaskan pieces of fishing equipment that we intend to use as pendants or other jewelry. This appears to be a gorgeous fish hook or spear tip, made of some sort of bone. This piece has a primal curve to it; almost like a long tooth which has been shaped and carved to make it sharp.
This beautiful piece has a large hole through the middle of it, large enough to accommodate a decent sized cord. There's also a hole drilled into the wider end of the pendant; we're honestly not exactly sure what it is for, but likely had something to do with effective fishing. The pendant measures 3 inches long, and 16 mm at its widest point. It weighs 9.9 grams.
